Traveling soon? This might make your life easier.

Allegiant announced on Wednesday that they will be adding two new nonstop service flight destinations from Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport (SRQ). These destinations are Washington, D.C. and Tulsa, Oklahoma.

According to prices on Allegiantair.com, passengers can start traveling to Tulsa International Airport (TUL) starting on December 15 for as low as $49. For as low as $39, passengers can also start traveling to Dulles International Airport (IAD) starting on December 18. Both flight services will operate twice a week.

Allegiant says flights to Tulsa must be purchased by December 17, 2021 for travel by March 24, 2022, and flights to D.C. must be purchased by December 20, 2022 for travel by March 27, 2022.

Prices are subject to change. For more information, visit their website.

Here in Tampa, we're lucky. The drive to Tampa International Airport can be a pain, but once you get there, it's pretty painless. Getting through security is fairly fast. It doesn't take long to find your terminal. And best of all, delays are pretty rare. Nothing makes you appreciate Tampa International more than when you have to travel through other airports. CompareCards.com compiled data on the 10 worst airports during the holidays. Their advice to avoid holiday travel stress... choose a nonstop early morning flight if you can. And avoid these airports for a connecting flight. These 10 had the most delayed or cancelled flights over the past 10 years in December.

You'll notice many on this list are northern airports. The weather surely plays a part in this. But I'm glad I don't live in Chicago... they came in at #1 and #2!

My absolute least favorite airport anywhere. I got stuck here overnight once. I always go out of my way to book a flight that doesn't include a stop at Newark.

Houston... you have a problem.

At least you're not stuck in Newark. With JFK, if you get stuck, just take a train into the city and have some fun!

Sounds like it's a good idea to avoid Texas altogether.

Texas appears several times on this list!
