Wesley Chapel Woman Wins Big With Mega Millions Ticket

A Pasco County woman may have a very merry Christmas.

Sheila McNeal purchased a Mega Millions ticket for the drawing on the December 7, 2021. All five of the white ball numbers matched, but the Mega Ball did not. That’s a $1 million winning ticket. She claimed her winnings at the Florida Lottery Tampa District Office.

Sheila purchased the winning ticket at Publix, 1920 County Road 581 in Wesley Chapel. The store will receive $1,000 for selling the winning ticket.

Florida joined Mega Millions in 2013. The next drawing is on Tuesday, December 21 at 11 p.m. The Mega Millions’ estimated jackpot is up to $171 million.
