Florida Man Has Bacon Freakout at Waffle House, Police Say

A Florida man went ballistic in a Cape Coral Waffle House over his bacon order, according to police.

Police say 28-year-old Martin Jose Alvarez began yelling at Waffle House employees about the way his bacon was cooked last Wednesday. According to Local 10, police say that Alavarez screamed at employees to "cook the f****** bacon right!"

Eventually, Alvarez was arrested and charged with disorderly intoxication, resisting arrest, and intent to commit a violent act.

He was booked at the Lee County Jail.

220,890 new residents moved to Florida between July 1, 2020, and July 1, 2021. This means that Florida is still the third most populated state in the nation behind California and Texas, respectively.

So it seems many of the people who have vacationed here are making a decision to just stay in Florida. Can you blame them?
