South Florida Gets Falling Iguana Warning

#OnlyInFlorida.

Temperatures got pretty low earlier this week for residents in South Florida. Not only did humans in the area experience colder temperatures, but so did iguanas.

Iguanas are cold-blooded reptiles, which mean their body temperatures vary according to the environment. Since temps got down to the 40s this week, there was an increase in possible falling iguanas.

Experts say to let the iguanas be as the Sun comes out. The iguanas aren't dead, they are basically just defrosting.

One resident got a first hand account on Monday.

If you see a stiff iguana, just know they are chilling out.

Hopefully they'll close the show like they did in Tampa with a performance of "Scoop There It Is."

They performed at Freestyle Explosion Tampa in 2019 at USF and were fantastic.

They had Tampa dancin' this summer.

Another one we didn't get to see at Amalie Arena or at USF, so maybe it's worth the road trip?

They were AWESOME at Freestyle Explosion in Tampa.  Take it back to 1994.

She'll perform her 80s jam "If You Leave Me Now" for sure!
