Universal Studios Opening Plans For Newest Theme Park

Universal’s third park in Orlando is getting closer to reality. It was delayed by the pandemic, but construction is back on track. What do we know about the newest project, called ‘Epic Universe’?
Comcast, parent company of Universal Studios, announced to investors that the new theme park will open by Summer of 2025. It will be the largest Universal theme park in the country, about 750 acres. The new park will also add thousands of new jobs.
The new theme park will feature areas that are based on DreamWorks (Shrek, Madagascar, How to Train Your Dragon), Illuminations (Despicable Me, The Secret Life of Pets, Sing) and Nintendo products. There’s already a ‘Super Nintendo World’ in Japan.
The latest attraction to open at Universal Studios Islands of Adventure was ‘Jurassic World VelociCoaster’. VelociCoaster features a 155″ peak and a top speed of 70 mph.
