Tom Brady #12 of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers drops to pass in the second quarter during their game against the Kansas City Chiefs at Raymond James Stadium on November 29, 2020 in Tampa, Florida.

This is getting interesting. After the reports today that Tom Brady is retiring from football, Bucs fans hopeful for just one more season are getting a glimmer of hope… maybe. This statement has just been released by Tom Brady’s agent Don Yee:

“I understand the advance speculation about Tom’s future. Without getting into the accuracy or inaccuracy of what’s being reported, Tom will be the only person to express his plans with complete accuracy. He knows the realities of the football business and planning calendar as well as anybody, so that should be soon.”

This statement ironically was posted to social media by Adam Schefter from ESPN, who broke the Brady retirement news today. To add to the confusion, Michael Silver from Bally Sports reports that Tom Brady has told the Bucs than he has NOT made a final decision yet. Cue the famous Jim Carrey clip from the movie Dumb & Dumber… “So you’re saying there’s a chance?”
