St. Petersburg Woman Buys $1 Million Winning Lottery Ticket At Publix
In fact, this week there are several Bay area million dollar winners.
First, there’s Patricia Cosenza of St. Petersburg. She won $1 million from the “Gold Rush Limited” scratch-off game. Patricia purchased her ticket at the Publix located at 5295 34th St. South in St. Pete. She claimed her prize at the Lottery’s Tampa District Office and chose to receive her winnings as a lump sum of $795,000. The store that sold the ticket will receive a $2,000 bonus.
Meanwhile, across the bay in Hillsborough County, Julia Jenkins of Dover also won $1 million in the “Gold Rush Limited” scratch-off game. Julia purchased her ticket at Brummeyer’s One Stop, located at 7208 Turkey Creek Road. She also claimed her prize at the Lottery’s Tampa District Office. Julia took home her prize as a lump sum of $795,000 as well. The store also got a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
The Gold Rush Limited scratch-off game is a $20 game that debuted in September, 2021. There are prizes ranging from $20 to $5 million. There are still 26 of 32 $5 million prizes and 80 of 100 $1 million winning tickets still out there.

If this wasn’t enough, Emilio Martinez of Clearwater and Candi Buckner of Melbourne each won from the “$5,000,000 Luck” game.
Emilio purchased a ticket from the 7-Eleven A at 2198 Main Street in Dunedin. Candi purchased hers from Shell SFM 251, 3676 N. Wickham Rd. $101 in Melbourne. Each collected their prizes as $760,000 lump sums, and each store will get a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning tickets.
“$5,000,000 Luck” is a $20 scratch-off game that launched in September, 2019. The game features prizes from $20 to $5 million. There are still 2 of 12 $5 million prizes available, and 4 of 40 $1 million prizes still available.
