Redfin says relocating from one part of the country to another is at a record level, up 26% since the COVID-19 pandemic began. They say the number of employees working remotely is bringing on the change. Makes sense. Why work from a place with high taxes and snow when you can fire up the laptop and do your work poolside? Most of the cities in the top 10 below rarely see snow.
Of their 2 million users who looked for homes, their research shows that Tampa is ranked #3 in terms of popular locations to move to. The only 2 cities that have more are Miami and Phoenix. Here's the full top 10...

Today, about half of the people surveyed talk to their neighbors once a week or less (52%), and more than three in five have gone out of their way to avoid them. 64% of Americans know most or all of their neighbors, and 58% consider them to be friends. One in three say their neighbors annoy them once a week or more, most often because of general noise, loud parties and parking issues.
