Universal Orlando Resort announced some changes for Halloween Horror nights this fall. They are extending the event to 43 nights. The scares will now start September 2 and run through Halloween night Monday, October 31. Halloween Horror Nights will generally run from Wednesday through Sunday nights throughout September and October.

Tickets are on sale now for $73.99 for a single night, but keep an eye out. There are often discounts available from sponsors or on the website for midweek admission. There will be 10 haunted houses, five scare zones and 2 live shows. As in previous years, many of the park’s rides will be open to experience at night. The crowds can get pretty huge, so if you want to make sure you get in to all of the houses, Universal offers the “R.I.P. Tour” for $249.99. It gets you priority entry in to each house once. A daytime behind the scenes tour is also available for $79.99. That does not include admission for that night’s HHN.
