Florida Man Found with Guns, Drugs, and a Baby Alligator, Police Say
This might be the most Florida headline of the year so far.
31-year-old Michael Marolla was arrested after a traffic stop ended with the discovery of guns, drugs, and a baby alligator. Police pulled over the driver of a pickup truck just after midnight in Collier County on Friday. That’s when deputies found one gun inside the glove box and another under the front passenger seat of the truck, a report states.

Deputies also say they found a live baby alligator in a plastic bin in the bed of the truck. Deputies searched Marolla’s jacket, who was sitting in the front passenger seat, and found syringe needles that tested positive for meth, reports say.
Police charged Marolla with two counts of possession of concealed firearm, and possession of controlled substance, an arrest report says.
