A Polk County resident hit it big from a Florida Lottery scratch-off ticket.

48-year-old Tommy Wilkinson of Winter Haven won a top $1 million prize from ‘The Fastest Road To $1,000,000’ scratch-off game. He claimed his prize at the Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.

Wilkinson purchased his winning ticket at Grab-N-Go, located at 2477 Rifle Range Road in Winter Haven. He took his winnings as a lump sum of $790,000. The store that sold the ticket will receive a $2,000 bonus.

‘The Fastest Road To $1,000,000’ is a $30 game with prizes ranging from $30 to $1 million. There are still 7 of 155 $1 million top prizes remaining.
