It seems the Florida Lottery is finding lots of winners. The latest in the area is a Pinellas County resident.
52-year-old Gary Franklin of St. Petersburg won $1 million from the Florida Lottery
. He won with a ‘500X The Cash’ scratch-off game.
Franklin purchased the winning ticket at B&N Food Mart, located at 2000 62nd Avenue in St. Pete. claimed his winnings at the Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. He took his winnings as a lump-sum payment of $820,000. The store will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
‘500X The Cash’ is a $50 scratch-off ticket. The game features prizes ranging from $100 to $25 million. There are still 126 of 160 $1 million prizes still available. The game also features 2 $25 million prizes, both of which are still available, according to Flalottery.com.
