Popstroke Golf Coming To Tampa Bay Area

A new type of 'golf and casual dining' concept, Popstroke, is coming to the Tampa area.

The golf courses are designed by Tiger Woods and his team. Different than traditional 'putt-putt golf', Popstroke incorporates more features of a real golf course. While Topgolf, already super-successful in Brandon, is a driving range, Popstroke is a great way to work on the golf 'short game.'

Though you'll only be using a putter, the two 18 hole courses incorporate bunkers, fairways and rough. It's more like playing on a traditional golf course, only smaller. One course is a little more advanced, while the other is more family friendly.

Now, bring on the food. There's a menu the family will enjoy that isn't just snack food. There's also an expansive drink menu for the adults. For everyone, there's also an ice cream and milk shake menu.

Here's a video clip from the Sarasota Popstroke location. There's a location coming to Wesley Chapel that broke ground in February. That location is expected to open in Fall, 2022.

It's part of Bloomin' Brands, parent of Outback Steakhouse, but it's not the same. It's certainly a fine dining experience.
