The Florida Lottery is putting out the alert that a $92,000 winning ticket was sold last year. It was one of those Fantasy 5 games. Channel 10 says the ticket has a value of $92,036.98. But on June 1, it'll be worthless.
The ticket was purchased at a Publix in West Delray Beach for the December 2 drawing. The winning numbers for the December 2 drawing were 2 - 10 - 13 - 14 - 19. You've got a few days left to claim your cash, but you have to get to Tallahassee to turn in the winner by May 31.
Curious what happens if nobody claims a big Florida Lottery prize?
In Florida, 80 percent of all unclaimed top prizes are transferred to the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund to benefit education in the state, according to FlaLottery.com. [Source: Channel 10]
