Clearwater Marine Aquarium Celebrates With ‘Summer Glow’

The evening celebration called Summer Glow has kicked off summer for Clearwater Marine Aquarium.

Now through July 30, from 4 until 8 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday, Clearwater Marine Aquarium becomes the place to celebrate summer. You can enjoy it with live entertainment, family activities, food, drinks and the water just feet away.

Activities include a free boat tour ticket per guest with purchase of admission after 4 p.m. The boat tours begin at 4:15 and take place each 15 minutes. (Final boat departs at 6:45, space is limited, subject to availability) The 30 minute tour gives you the chance to discover our local waters and wildlife.

With the aquarium’s extended hours, your family can enjoy the rescued marine life. There’s also a “Virtual Reality Theater” with an immersive experience with “Remembering Winter the Dolphin.” Click here for pricing and booking information.

Festive foods and drinks, such as dolphin pretzels, Dippin’ Dot dolphin sundaes and other treats also await.

There are also scheduled activities for kids. The “Let’s Glow Kids Party,” “Underwater Dolphin Presentation,” “Glow Slime Time With Professor Peduncle,” Story Time: Glowing Animals,” a SCUBA presentation and the “Dolphin Disco Dance Party.”

Closing out the evening is the “Summer Glow Evening Toast.” Some activities are subject to change.
