St Pete Florida Man Gets Felony Battery Charge For Throwing Chili
This was a case of battery, but it took a turn when food was involved.
A St. Petersburg man was charged with felony battery after throwing chili. Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office says 50-year-old George Neil Armstrong was involved in an argument.
The sheriff’s office affidavit said Armstrong poked the victim in the face. Then it escalated when Armstrong removed his chili from a microwave and threw it at the victim.
According to authorities, Armstrong has a conviction for battery on his record.
