Tampa Bay is booming with fantastic food trucks. There's so many options to choose from, whether you're in the mood for wings, tacos or vegan options, there's something for everyone! One of the Tampa's best food trucks is going to be competing on the Food Network for the chance to win $20,000. Shiso Crispy is known around the bay area for their amazing signature Asian fusion creations, like their lobster rangoon or handmade gyoza. But soon you'll be able to see chef and owner Ronicca Whaley work her magic on Guy's Grocery Games.

For those who aren't familiar, Guy's Grocery Games is a Food Network show hosted by Guy Fieri. The show consists of four competitors who have to create a signature dish using ingredients found in "Flavortown Market." The chefs are hit by real-world challenges like finding solutions when all the essential ingredients are suddenly "out-of-stock" or having to create a masterpiece when you can only cook with "5 items or less" or on a $10 budget.

Ronicca shared in a Facebook post that the competition ran five weeks! The first episode is set to air on July 6th, watch her work through the tournament every Wednesday in July or catch the season finale set to air on August 3rd. This is not her first time on the show. Not only has Ronicca been featured in the New York Times, but she was also a two-time contestant on Food Network's Guy's Grocery Games.

Although she may not be able to highlight her mouth-watering Asian fusion dishes on the show, we still highly recommend trying Shiso Crispy's gyoza's at their next event. You can also cheer Ronicca on while munching on tasty dumplings at Shiso Crispy's permanent locations at Magnanimous Brewing in Tampa or St. Petersburg’s Par Bar. You can follow Shiso Crispy on Instagram to keep tabs on Ronicca's success on the show, or where they'll be in the Tampa area for the week.

There's so much variety in cuisine in Tampa Bay, and new food trucks seem to be popping up everyday, so we gathered a list from Yelp of the most mouth-watering food trucks in Tampa and added a few of our own.

These aren't your typical food spots, don't expect to find classic menu items here. Most trucks on our list feature fusion-inspired dishes, which brings authenticity to the table. These mobile restaurants pride themselves in creating a niche menu that takes them a step above their stay-put competition. Some trucks are conveniently parked in one place with usual business hours, and other purely operate out of events. Keep in mind that most of these businesses are not open during normal hours, and many may only be available at certain hours or special events.
