Raising money for animal shelter related charities

She started a lemonade stand and raised more than $43,000 in three years. This money went to support more than 25 local animal rescues. She also volunteers at animal shelters and hosts community animal adoption fairs. In October, she will be honored as the ASPCA Kid of the Year at the ASPCA Humane Awards Luncheon.
Roxanne caught up with Delanie on The Current to find out how she's been able to accomplish so much over the last couple of years.
Roxanne’s Trip To The Mountains In North Carolina
Each year during late September or early October, we pack up the kids and head to the Blue Ridge Mountains.
It’s nice to just get away from the Florida heat and know that when we come back from our vacation, we only have another month or so of hot weather to endure in Tampa. Here are some photos of some of my favorite moments during last year’s trip.
So much fun and I will very shortly be adding photos from our 2022 trip.
My daughter and I found some pumpkins outside of Starbucks.

Everywhere in town has a total autumn vibe to it.
My daughter loves this bear on the balcony.

She was giving it a bath.
Have you heard of Grandfather Mountain?

At 5,946 feet (1,812 m), it is the highest peak on the eastern escarpment of the Blue Ridge Mountain.
I can't begin to tell you how scary this bridge is..

You could see it moving in the wind, and it totally freaked me out.
Doug and my older daughter were brave enough to cross the rickety bridge.

But I couldn't do it. My baby and I stayed back.
This is another really cool part of Grandfather Mountain.

You will get to see bears.
