Tom Brady Added To Buccaneers Injury Report
On Monday, Bucs QB Tom Brady said he hurt his ring finger during the Bucs game against the New Orleans Saints. He spoke about it on the “Let’s Go!” SiriusXM podcast. But then he later added that the injury didn’t affect him.
But the Bucs had not disclosed Brady on their official injury report earlier in the week. On Friday afternoon the Bucs DID put Brady on their injury report.
However, Bucs Head Coach Todd Bowles explained that “He’s ready to go, he’s full-practice. He took every throw.”
Earlier in the week on the MJ Morning Show, we talked about Brady taking Wednesdays off during the season as a veteran player. BUT then he did end up practicing this Wednesday.
The reason this sort of contradicting injury report is of note is because last year the Bucs had an issue when Brady played with a torn medial collateral ligament in 2020.
NFL rules explain that all “reportable injuries” must be on practice reports “even if the player takes all the reps in practice.”
