Tampa’s Chamberlain High School Students Pick New Nickname/Mascot
Chamberlain High School had been known as the Chiefs since 1958. After giving the student body opportunity to select a new identity, a new nickname has been chosen.
Chamberlain High School’s Indian chief head was removed from the outside overlooking the intersection of Busch Blvd. and North Blvd in Tampa.
There were three finalists to be voted upon. Here are those choices…
The student body has voted, and they selected the Chamberlain Storm.
The next step? The Hillsborough County School Board will need to give final approval for the choice made by the students. This is on the agenda for the next school board meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, October 18.
