Check out the Great Pumpkin Patch in Seminole Heights. It's something cool they've been doing there, and it's a way to checkout some of the great places to eat in the area. It's taking place now through October 30th. You'll find the pumpkin patch at 6111 N Central Avenue.
Not only will you find pumpkins of all shapes and sizes, but it also features different types of pumpkins. Some pumpkins are decorated as Disney characters. There really is something for everyone. And on Fridays you can check out their scary movie nights. Enjoy a new movie every Friday at 7:30 P.M.
They are also offering opportunities to do some pumpkin painting. It will cost a small fee, but it's a great creative outlet.
And money raised goes to support the Hampton Terrace Community Association and Seminole Heights United Methodist Church.

Roxanne’s Halloweens Through The Years
It’s so funny because I just spent some time going back through the last eight years, and each costume photo kind of captures the theme of the year and the vibe in my life at that point in time.
My older daughter is going to be Rose from The Titanic this year. Will be posting pics of her costume soon!
This is a way back in time throwback.

Sometime in the 80's...me and my little sis as Kermit and Miss Piggy. My Mom made these costumes.
2014

When we weren't even thinking about having kids...We were just about partying and having a good time.
2015

I was very focused on my career at this point...working a full time job in radio and part time on TV. My co-host Debra and I dressed as Elsa and Anna. The funny thing is I hadn't even seen the movie Frozen.
2016

Surprise! I'm 5 months pregnant in this photo.
2017

Our first baby is 6 months old here.
2017

Isn't this the cutest pumpkin you've ever seen. She got stuck in it, btw.
2017

And she also was the most adorable little pink elephant.
2018

Baby girl is getting bigger. She's one and a half here. Love my little ladybug.
2019

It's the year of our love for Elsa. My daughter became obsessed with Elsa.
2019

I think she had 5 different Elsa costumes. And I'm 10 months pregnant here, btw.
2019

We celebrated Halloween that year in the Bahamas.
2019

I'm lucky I didn't go into labor while we were traveling.
2020

We had a new baby, Davianna, to celebrate the holiday with, but...
2020

...was also the year that kicked off Covid, so it was a hodgepodge of a Halloween. We didn't trick-or-treat. Just stood outside and ate candy, and we were pretty low-key with costumes. This is an unidentifiable raggedy princess costume.
2021

Last year my older daughter wanted to be Mal from Descendants.
2021

And that adorable ladybug costume saw the light of day again (or a Halloween night).
2021

And Davianna loved being a ladybug so much, she napped in her costume for like 2 weeks straight even after Halloween.
