Clearwater Beach is home to the Sugar Sand Festival. It’s the biggest destination event on the beach each year.

The announced dates for the Sugar Sand Festival are April 7-23, 2023. The event will turn over 1,000 tons of beautiful white sand into amazing life-like sculptures for 17 days. There is also a children’s play area, street performers, live music and fireworks. They’ll even host sand sculpting classes to help hone your skills.

What is the Sugar Sand Festival all about?

The master sculptors will have their creations for viewing under a 21,000 square foot structure. Cameras are encouraged to save those memories of the sculptures. You may have visited the festival before, but each year you can see new creations by the sculptors.

For those unfamiliar with the festival, the event brings in artists from around the world. They’ll transform tons of sand into amazing sculptures, right on Clearwater Beach. You can click here for the official website of the Pier 60 Sugar Sand Festival. Tickets are available online.
