Do you have a dog? Do you live in Tampa? You are in the right place. There was a study that was put out by U.S. News & World Report’s 360 Reviews. The study looked at the best cities for dog owners acorss our country. Portland, Oregon came in first place. Tampa in number two, boasting the highest number of dog parks per capita in the country.
Did you know Ybor City is laying out a new 4,000 square-foot dog park. Impressive!
There are a couple of dog bars in Tampa that you may enjoy checking out: Two Shepherds Taproom, 4813 N. Grady Avenue and City Dog Cantina, 1208 E Kennedy Blvd #114.
The spaces where people shop, lounge, meet and eat are offering fun for four-legged friends, too. For example, Sparkman Wharf will have a pop-up dog park. And Midtown now has a luxury pet store your dogs will love!

Froggy’s Favorite Fish Catches
I've been fishing my entire life. My father introduced me to fishing when I was a young boy.
Our favorite fishing spot to explore was Honeymoon Island. We'd go there numerous times a year. I remember always being so excited to go to the bait shop at 4 o'clock in the morning. (And it helped prepare me for my early alarm clocks in radio.) I can still remember the smell of the bait shop till this day.
It took me a long time to master fishing. It's really been the last 15 years or so during which I've finally started to catch some descent fish around the Tampa Bay area.
People often ask me for tips on how to catch more fish and. To be honest, the best tip is to use artificial lures. I've recently started seriously coaching my two boys so they can follow in mine and my father's footsteps. Let's just say it's taken a while to get them both as excited as my dad is to be on a boat for 8 hours a day. But they are getting there!
I also still really enjoy fishing with my father who somehow seems to always out fish me. If you are into fishing and you have kids, it is so good for them to get out on the water and learn how to fish. Not only is it good to get the kids out of the house and into the sun, but it is also good to ignite a passion that doesn't involve iPads and Xbox. The more I teach my boys to fish, the more time it keeps them outside appreciating the amazing fishing. We are so lucky to have what feels like a million outdoor activities available to us here in beautiful Tampa Bay.
Here's a look at some of my favorites..."Froggy's Favorite Fish Catches Over the Years." This is my favorite addiction...FISHING!
