How bizarre??? South Tampa residents have been hearing a strange noise.

The sound? It's a like a deep bass noise. People have noticed it and even felt it on some Saturday nights. It goes on through the night and into the morning.

Abbi Reynolds spoke with our friends at Fox 13. She lives in South Tampa. She described it as, "A deep vibrating, bass sound. You can feel it when your head's down on the pillow."

Reports of the vibration sound have been received from residents all through South Tampa and even on Davis Islands. But where is the sound coming from? Even the police can't figure it out.

"There is no real rhythmic music sound. There have never been vocals," Abbi said. "We have complaints over in Davis Islands, Harbour Island, Bayside, Bayshore, South of Gandy, Virginia Park," Abbi said. "I mean, this is widespread. We're not sure if it's carrying over the water, but it's very disruptive. I feel like Tampa has a mystery here to uncover."

If you hear the noise or have information about the noise, please call the Tampa Police Department at the non-emergency number, 813-231-6130.

Froggy’s Favorite Fish Catches

I've been fishing my entire life. My father introduced me to fishing when I was a young boy.

Our favorite fishing spot to explore was Honeymoon Island. We'd go there numerous times a year. I remember always being so excited to go to the bait shop at 4 o'clock in the morning. (And it helped prepare me for my early alarm clocks in radio.) I can still remember the smell of the bait shop till this day.

It took me a long time to master fishing. It's really been the last 15 years or so during which I've finally started to catch some descent fish around the Tampa Bay area.

People often ask me for tips on how to catch more fish and. To be honest, the best tip is to use artificial lures. I've recently started seriously coaching my two boys so they can follow in mine and my father's footsteps. Let's just say it's taken a while to get them both as excited as my dad is to be on a boat for 8 hours a day. But they are getting there!

I also still really enjoy fishing with my father who somehow seems to always out fish me. If you are into fishing and you have kids, it is so good for them to get out on the water and learn how to fish. Not only is it good to get the kids out of the house and into the sun, but it is also good to ignite a passion that doesn't involve iPads and Xbox. The more I teach my boys to fish, the more time it keeps them outside appreciating the amazing fishing. We are so lucky to have what feels like a million outdoor activities available to us here in beautiful Tampa Bay.

Here's a look at some of my favorites..."Froggy's Favorite Fish Catches Over the Years." This is my favorite addiction...FISHING!

Rocky Creek Redfish. Look for oyster beds in small creeks to find the reds. The closer to the oyster beds the better.

This is Froggy's favorite fish of all time because it was caught while fishing with his favorite local TV fishing personality, CA Richardson! Its always smart to take a professional guide to catch fish anywhere.
