The nearly 25-year-old program provides free safe transportation for impaired drivers and their vehicles. For the year-end holidays, "Tow To Go" will operate from 6 p.m. Friday, December 23 and run through 6 a.m. Monday, January 2, 2023.
To participate, call (855) 2-TOW-2-GO. A tow truck will transport a possibly impaired driver and their vehicle to a safe location within a 10-mile radius. AAA hopes offers the program, but wants it used as a last resort.

In a release, Megan Cooper, spokeswoman for AAA, said,
“’Tis the season for gathering with friends and family and AAA is proud to offer this service to help everyone make it home for the holidays safely. The greatest gift you can give this holiday season is your presence, so be sure to plan for a safe ride home before the celebrations begin. Alcohol, drugs and even prescription medications can affect your ability to drive and cause unnecessary risks for everyone on the roadway. If you’re tempted to drive impaired, call AAA instead and we’ll transport you and your vehicle to a safe location.”
We urge you to be sure to have a safe ride, and AAA hopes you'll use this program as a last resort.
