This morning, Damar Hamlin is recovering at a Cincinnati hospital after collapsing in the first quarter on Monday Night Football. Players, coaches and officials were visibly distraught as medical personnel rushed to save Hamlin's life after he suffered a heart attack on the field. CPR possibly saved his life last night and if any positive is to come from this, it will inspire many to learn CPR.

There are dozens of classes daily in Tampa and St. Petersburg. Few cost more than $100. Most teach general first aid and CPR techniques. Others focus on a particular scenario. There is one course I found that teaches CPR for specifically for babysitters. If finding a class in person near you at a time that fits your schedule is difficult, you can even take a $37 course online. Visit The American Red Cross website to see where the next class is near you.
