Attend Parades Celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Around Tampa Bay
If you are off work today and would like to attend parades celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day, here are some options
Our friends at ABC Action News put together a list of places to go to watch a parade or do some volunteer work.
At 12 p.m., The Tampa MLK Jr. Day Parade kicks off with 150 acts registered, making it the largest city of Tampa MLK parade ever.
You could check out the Tampa MLK Jr. Day Parade that kicks off at noon. It’s Tampa’s largest MLK parade ever, featuring 150 acts. It picks up at Cucaden Park and ends at Middleton High School.
If you’re on the other side of the bay, watch the St. Pete Parade starts at 11 a.m. and begins at 1st Avenue South. And there’s an event at Tropicana Field, as well. It’s the MLK Fun day is at Tropicana, lot 4, taking place from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
