You have a couple of choices of shows to watch on Sunday, February 12. While many pick the football game, a growing number are watching the Puppy Bowl instead. Here’s what we know about Tampa‘s representatives.
If you follow the Puppy Bowl, you know the “players” are made up of rescued dogs. They come from all over the country. This year, there are two respresentatives from the Tampa Bay area.
The two pups come from rescue group Compassion Kind. The St. Petersburg organization’s representatives are the first they have had make an appearance in Puppy Bowl.
Here are the two pups who will enjoy playtime in the cutest game ever.
Team Ruff has both pups on its roster. They are Max and Nancy. Here’s what we know about each:
Max is a male lab/pointer mix who was found in Jamaica. They believe he’s about 6 months old. He was adopted by a family in Riverview.
Nancy is also about 6 months old. The terrier mix comes to us from Puerto Rico. Her new adoptive home is in St. Petersburg, and her name is now Nova.
The Puppy Bowl will air beginning at 2 p.m., Sunday, February 12, on Animal Planet.
