Without sounding biased, we could name at least three deserving towns that should be featured on this list. Thrillest.com put together a list of the best beach towns in the U.S., and narrowed it down to the top 20.

The 20 spots they picked represent the best of the best. They condensed their list by searching for the best beach towns with dreamy towns, welcoming locals, and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Whether you live here in Florida, or are trying to pick your next spring break destination. Here are the best beach towns in America.

One honorable mention we think they should have included is Dunedin. Honeymoon and Caladesi Island are great beach getaways without having to travel too far. Not to mention all of the great dining and brewery options downtown Dunedin has to offer. I guess it's hard to narrow down one great beach town in the Sunshine State.

Anna Maria Island was named the best beach town in Florida. About a 2 hour drive from Tampa Bay, Anna Maria Island has just as much to offer as Clearwater and St. Pete, without the large crowds.
