Brandon Man Claims $2 Million Mega Millions Win

A man in Hillsborough County won big from Mega Millions.

52-year-old Jeffrey Sanchez of Brandon purchased a Mega Millions ticket with the Megaplier feature. That ticket ended up matching all five white balls, but not the Mega Ball. His winning ticket was worth $2 million in the October 28 drawing.

Sanchez claimed his prize at the Florida Lottery Tampa District Office. He purchased his ticket at 7-Eleven, 1020 South Kings Avenue in Brandon. The store will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The current Mega Millions jackpot, as of March 7, 2023, is $188 Million, after having rolled over on FRIDAY, March 3, 2023. The next drawing is tonight at 11 p.m (Eastern time). The cash option if a single ticket matches all five white balls and the Mega Ball is $95.7 million.

Each year, Tripadvisor.com compiles 'best of' lists based on their reader's choices. Those 'Traveler's Choice' lists include the best beaches, destinations, hotels, restaurants and things-to-do.

They've now released their second category. First was 'destinations,' and now here's the list of the greatest beaches in the world, along with a list narrowed down to the best beaches in the U.S.A.

Tripadvisor.com released the list, based upon what they say are tens of millions of submissions by travelers. Here are the top 25 beaches in the U.S.A. Florida tied Hawai'i for the most beaches on the list, each with 8 spots on the list.
