Coachman Park has an all-new look and work is nearing completion on The Sound, the new concert venue at the park will be ready in a couple months. Five big concerts have already been announced.

The first will be the Sad Summer Music Festival, featuring a lot of pop punk acts from the early 2000s like Taking Back Sunday and The Maine on Friday, July 7. Tickets range from $39.50 to $125. Doors open at 1pm and the music starts at 2. Michael Franti will headline the second show Friday, July 21. Best known for big hit 12 years ago "Say Hey I Love You."

The third show will feature Q105 90s favorites the Goo Goo Dolls. They had a bunch of hits you'll remember like "Name," "Iris," and "Slide." O.A.R. will open the show. Tickets for this one range from $49 to $129.

Kenny Loggins will make his final area appearance on his Farewell Tour at The Sound September 16. If you want to go all out for this show, get the "This Is It" package. It's a guided tour experience where you'll get a premium seat, backstage tour, entry into Kenny's soundcheck, and signed memorabilia for $475.

Last but not least is the show we told you about this week... Chicago is coming to The Sound Saturday, October 7. The show will benefit local breast cancer research charities.
