Brave Security Guards Who Prevented Armed Man From Entering Mons Venus Tell Their Story

By now, I'm sure you've seen the terrifying video that has gone viral nationwide captured at Mons Venus in Tampa Sunday morning. Brave security guards got the job done by preventing a masked man with a gun from entering the club. Who knows how bad the situation could have turned out.

Tampa Police expressed their gratitude and commended the employees for saving who knows how many lives. The mask-wearing man is 44 year old Michael Rudman. Rudman had a flashlight and a firearm as he tried to enter. The first security guard on the scene was 55 year old Manuel Resto. In the video, you can clearly see Resto grab the gun to get it away from Rudman.

Police said 9 knives were found along with ammunition in Rudman's vehicle. They say he visited Mons Venus the night before. They say the Largo man has a previous record of arrests for domestic violence, battery, reckless driving and DUI.
