They went looking for snakes... but that's not what they found.

Channel 8 reports python hunters near Miami found something else... a 75 year old woman who'd gone missing. First the good news - she's ok! A Sliver Alert was issued when Darlene Peck disappeared Tuesday. She suffers from dementia and when she didn't come home, her husband got worried.

Her car was located the next day near Miami, but it was the python hunters who found Darlene almost 300 miles away from her home. But again, a happy ending - Darlene is back home safe and sound now. Now back to the python hunt.

So what did YOU do this weekend. I'm pretty sure this is the most Florida way to spend your weekend ever. These python hunters kicked off a 10 day competition to find Burmese pythons in the Everglades.
