Could This Be The Best Disney Resort Of Them All

If your thinking about staying at a hotel or resort at Walt Disney World, the choices are a little overwhelming.  You can literally spend as much as much money as you like on some of these places.  Many people say that the resorts are so nice that the actual theme park pales in comparison.

I know that some people have their favorite places, but I have to say, that I think my favorite is the best of them all.

Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort is a insanly deluxe resort  at Walt Disney World , outside of Orlando. It is inspired by the historic national park lodges of the American Northwest, and features an albeit rustic but very luxurious atmosphere. The resort is built on Bay Lake, and has a natural setting with pine trees, waterfalls, and a man-made geyser.

Wilderness Lodge Resort has over 700 guest rooms, ranging from standard rooms to suites. The rooms fall have rustic decor but don’t let that fool you, they are designed to provide a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The resort also has about every amenity you can imagine for guests, including multiple dining options, a fitness center, an amazing pool with a waterslide, and a children's activity center.

Easily the highlight of the resort is its impressive lobby, which has a huge fireplace and an enormous totem pole. There is also a small bridge that over looks a “Spring” that feed water into the mountain creek that leads to the outside areas. There are several seating areas throughput the place where guests can relax and enjoy the ambiance.

Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort is also prey impressive when it comes to their restaurants, including the Whispering Canyon Cafe, which serves up fantastic American fare with a western flair. The resort also has a fancier dining restaurant called Artist Point, which serves food from the Pacific Northwest.

Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort is an excellent choice for families looking for a unique and lfancy resort experience at Walt Disney World.  In fact, in the opinion of this author it is indeed the finest of all the Disney Resorts.
