Roberts is a host on the Carton and Roberts show on WFAN, and he believes the Rays success must be because they are cheating.
I don’t get it. You can’t watch talent and success of another team without assuming there’s shadiness behind it.
Here’s what he had to say on WFAN: “There’s something suspicious about that, by the way…All I know is I am a baseball fan, I know baseball, I like baseball, I was very skeptical with what I saw this weekend.”
The claim is that because the Rays have a lot of journeyman players, you can’t believe they’re actually winning without cheating. Let me get this straight. You have to be labeled a star player before you can expect to have success?
Who cares what other commentators think. The Rays’ 29 wins and first place in the American League speaks for itself. Let’s celebrate our team!
