Down near the Ballast Point area, a Tampa restaurant is coming to a close at the end of June.

If you've ever longed for a "steak bomb" at Chubby's, you know it's a one-of-a-kind dinner experience. Their variety of pizzas has also been the Ballast Point area's go-to place.

George and Zan Fuller opened Chubby's Super Subs and Pizza in the early 1980's. While it has changed hands, it hasn't lost its popularity.

The brick building that houses Chubby's will need to find a new tenant. However, until the end of June, you can still get down to Bayshore Blvd. and Interbay Blvd. for your last few chances to get your steak bomb fix. This Tampa restaurant closing will likely sadden some around MacDill Air Force Base.

In a Facebook post, they explained that Chubby's is coming to a close.
