What Does Tampa Smell Like?

What Tampa Smells Like is a question I never thought I would ask myself. Having grown up my entire life in Florida I would say that I am used to the smells of Tampa Bay. Tampa is known as the Cigar City, as for me I think one of the most recognizable smells as a Tampa Bay resident is a cigar. My father always smoked cigars as I was a kid and to me the smell of a nice cigar will always remind me of my father who still enjoys a cigar with me to this day. Another smell that I think is a well known scent is Tampa is sunscreen due to all the beaches and water we are lucky enough to have here.

Another smell I would say that is a Tampa smell would be the smell of a 100 thousand people at a pirate parade. That is a smell that only a visitor to the famous Gasparilla Parade.
