2 Upcoming Tampa I-275 Road Closures To Be Aware Of
As construction continues around the Tampa Bay area in July, interstate closures can be expected. Here’s the latest you may need to know.

These two I-275 road closures are for the 'Capacity Improvements from north of I-4 to north of Hillsborough Avenue'.
First, drivers on southbound on I-275 in Tampa north of the I-4 interchange need to know this: The southbound I-275 will close from Hillsborough Avenue to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. This will happen Thursday, July 20, from 1 a.m. until 5 a.m., weather permitting.
Drivers will need take Exit 47 (Hillsborough Avenue) east to Nebraska Avenue, south to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Then, turn west and onto the southbound on-ramp to I-275. Click here to see a detour map.
Next, and this one is for both directions on I-275. It will happen Sunday morning beginning at 12 a.m. through 6 a.m., weather permitting.
ALL travel lanes on I-275 between Hillsborough Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard will close. All drivers northbound AND southbound on I-275 will need to detour around the area.
Now, here are the detours to expect during this time. Southbound drivers will take Exit 47 (Hillsborough Avenue) east to Nebraska Avenue. South to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to return via the on-ramp to southbound I-275.
Northbound drivers will take Exit 46B (Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard). Turn east to Nebraska Avenue, north to Hillsborough Avenue, and west back to the northbound on-ramp to I-275. Click here to see detour map.
There will be advanced warning signs and message boards to help find the detoured routes. Expect some delays if you need to follow this route.
This closure is to give crews opportunities to work on overhead sign structures. I-275 road closures will continue, and you can find details on them here as they are announced.
Lineup Of 2024 80’s Cruise From Florida Announced
In 2023, the 80's Cruise sailed from Los Angeles on March 3. Now, the 2024 cruise has been scheduled, and details are out. It will again sail from Florida into the Caribbean. Here are the details:

The 80s Cruise features many of your favorite 80's acts and personalities. The ship for 2024 will be Royal Caribbean's Mariner of the Seas. The 7-night cruise will begin at Port Canaveral and will sail to Aruba and Curaçao. The ship sets sail from February 29 until March 7, 2024.
