Now here's a celebrity brand we can fully get behind. Cher recently revealed on Instagram that she will be launching a gelato company -- something that she has been wanting to do for years. The "Believe" singer, 77, shared a video walking around a sunset-colored truck with a design of her face in black-and-white licking ice cream in a cone all over. Cher told her fans in the caption: "Yep, This Is Real…. I’m Launching My Gelato…. Watch Out LA! All Started 5 Years Ago And Now It’s Finally HAPPENING [dancing emoji]. More To Come…." Written on the side of the truck in bright blue letters is the brand's name: Cherlato.

Following her announcement, Cher shared a preview of her Cherlato flavors. The first looks decadent, with a doughnut topping. Featured in the second slide is what looks to be a crushed pistachio topping. Meanwhile, the third slide looks more like cotton candy than gelato, piquing our interest. The fourth and final sneak peek was for chocolate lovers, with hardened shaved chocolate topping and frozen or dehydrated raspberries.

How Cherlato Came About

On the official Cherlato Instagram, the first post revealed that Cher collaborated with New Zealand-based ice cream company Giapo, known for making ice creams in a gluten-free facility, to bring her gelato to life. The post read: "A few years ago, Cher met Giapo, and together, the pair brainstormed, taste-tested, experimented, and eventually conceived Cherlato - the boldest and coldest gelato creations LA has ever had."

In another post, the Los Angeles-based company shared they are committed to sourcing the best that ingredients California has to offer "to ensure the freshest, most flavorful gelato experience you've ever had." As the company will start out in LA, they teased it will be available everywhere "very soon." Cher and Giapo explored California in search of the best ingredients to create the "freshest gelato imaginable" that LA and "the world NEEDS to try."
