Want To Meet Mark Wahlberg In Tampa This Weekend?

If you are a big Mark Wahlberg fan, guess what. He's coming to Tampa.

He'll be meeting fans, taking photos, and signing autographs on Saturday in Tampa at Luekens Midtown, which is located at 236 N Dale Mabry Highway on Saturday, August 26. The event is taking place from 11:30 A.M. to 1 P.M.

I've gotten a chance to interview Mark on a handful of occasions. Twice I've interviewed him via satellite. But once I interviewed him in New York while he was promoting the movie, The Fighter.

When I interviewed him, I walked away feeling like he is one of the nicest, most down-to-earth celebs. If you are thinking about purchasing tickets to go to the event, go for it. He's a quality person, and you will have a good, memorable experience when you meet him. And if you are a Mark Wahlberg fan, which of his projects do you like best? Mark is an actor, producer, writer, director. And of course, if you listen to Q105, you hear his songs from when he was Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch.

Luekens Midtown will be be closed for this private event. And you may want to get in line early if you're going. It will begin at 9 A.M. on Saturday. When you listen to the MJ Morning Show tomorrow, you'll hear about an opportunity to win VIP passes to the event.

But of course, make sure you’re not the one driving. My two favorite adult beverages are a glass of red wine or a tequila drink. I’ll drink tequila on the rocks, but I love a good mixed tequila drink. I don’t like the traditional types of mixed tequila drinks. I prefer when they use creative ingredients and make them a little spicy.

I have four places that I go to for creative tequila drinks to spice up the night. The Rooftop bar at the new Tampa Edition Hotel is my favorite. You can enjoy a beautiful sunset, too.

Counter Culture has to-die-for brunches and you must have one of their yummy tequila drinks to accompany it. Try a Garden Party, which is made with espolòn reposado tequila, ancho reyes verde poblano liqueur, lime, agave, house three pepper tincture. Of course, I’m partial to Meat Market, but they do have one of my favorite mixed tequila drinks. It’s a mixture of tequila, orange, cinnamon, and honey. That sounds like it must be good for you! Haha!

And I love Olivia Italian Restaurant for a shot of tequila or one of their signature Apulia cocktails, which is a mixture of Corazon Reposado, Orange Shrub, Aperol, and Agave.

I usually only like to have one tequila drink, because if I have more than that, I may pay for it the next day, and of course, I might not be able to remember what a good time I had.
