We'll get to the list of stations that shows where the contaminated gas was sold around the Tampa Bay area. But first, this is apparently what happened. On Sunday, officials from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services announced that consumers could have bought gas that was contaminated with diesel gas. The contamination affected gas purchases after 10 A.M. on Saturday, August 26. The contamination mistake took place at the Port of Tampa.

Not only will diesel fuel negatively affect a car's engine, but this is bad overall timing for something like this to happen. Everyone is busy doing hurricane preps as we see the intensification of Tropical Storm Idalia.
