Florida is one of the happiest states in the United States and that comes from a new study. The study is done by Wallethub, who came up with the list. The way they came up with the list is they looked at 30 key metrics across the 50 states. They looked at depression rate and the share of adults feeling productive. Also, income growth and the unemployment rate were key factors. Florida comes in #8 overall as the happiest state. They come in #2 for emotional and physical well-being. While they are #21 in work environment and #44 in community and environment.

What Factors Help A Person’s Well-Being?
On Wallethub’s website they looked about trying to find the factors that helped someone’s overall well-bring. The Least Happiest State
The state that is the least happiest is West Virginia. They come in last in emotional and physical well-being and also work environment. Louisiana and Tennessee come in right above West Virginia. Six of the bottom ten states are located in the southeast. Mississippi, Alabama, Kentucky and Arkansas are also in the bottom 10.
