Busch Gardens Adds 10th Coaster “Phoenix Rising” for 2024

Get ready to fly above the Serengeti Plain at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay in Spring 2024 with the newest coaster, "Phoenix Rising". "Phoenix Rising" is the largest family-friendly coaster in the Pantopia area of the park and is Busch Garden's 10th roller coaster. It will be the first coaster to feature on-board audio making it a truly unique experience.

This coaster will bring a new experience to Busch Gardens as you fly above the Serengeti Plain before taking a journey across the Pantopia region of the park. With its bright colors, thrilling attractions and more, the riders will experience a never before seen view of the park in a suspended coaster that allows you to swing side to side as you race along the track. With a truly unique soundtrack playing through the onboard audio, you'll twist and turn through an exhilarating ride for family friendly fun.

For the best Busch Gardens experience, the 2024 Annual Pass will allow you to fly across the Serengeti Plain on the "Phoenix Rising" before it's debut to the public.

"Phoenix Rising" was manufactured by Bollinger & Mabillard as a family friendly coaster that soars up to speeds of 44 miles per hour on a 1,831-feet track. The 42 inch height requirement makes this coaster perfect for adrenaline seeking families to have fun.

The Busch Gardens Annual Pass allows passholders to access the "Phoenix Rising" months before it's public debut in 2024. Florida families can also register for a 2023 Preschool Card, granting children under the age of five free admission to both Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and Adventure Island Water Park. Busch Gardens is set to unveil a new bar and lounge in early January 2023! The Springs Taproom will be located in the Bird Gardens area of the park. It features a calm pond and exuberant landscaping and provide a relaxing setting for guests to sip different types of brews, handcrafted cocktails and enjoy delicious eats.

Along with a new hangout spot, Busch Gardens is also adding a new coaster to the park in 2023! The Serengeti Flyer will take flight in the Spring of 2023. Upgrade your Fun Card to an Annual Pass and get an exclusive sneak peak of the tallest and fastest swing ride.
