Awesome Pizza Deals In Tampa Throughout Month of October

Did you know that you can get awesome Pizza deals in Tampa throughout the month of October?  It is National Pizza month.  You hear about National Pizza Day, but not a whole month.  This is awesome.  We all love pizza.  As a matter of fact, the average person can eat over half a pizza, which is around 5 slices in a single sitting.

In fact, Americans eat pizza around three times in any given month.  That is equivalent to 180 potential slices in a single year, which could fill a suitcase.  The study also reveals more Americans prefer frozen, ready-to-bake-at-home pizza (30%) than they do eating fresh pizza in a restaurant (26%) or even delivery pizza (16%).  Perhaps that’s why nearly half (48%) prefer pizza hot and fresh out of the oven.

National Pizza Month is October 2023 and there are a number of special deals and offers that you can grab from national, regional, and local chains. Here’s a rundown of what’s being offered:

California Pizza Kitchen – from October 3 through October 30, customers who order a pizza for dine-in get a free Take & Bake pizza to bring home.

Chuck E. Cheese – the Pumpkin-Shaped Pepperoni Pizza that is made with a pumpkin shape is available throughout the month of October for dine-in, carryout, and delivery.

Digiorno – is having its second annual 31 Days of Digiorno Sweepstakes where fans can play weekly Instant Win games for a chance to win prizes.

Hungry Howie’s – through Oct. 30 Howie Bread is available for $0.50 with the purchase of any large pizza at regular menu price by using the code “HB50” when ordering online carryout orders.

Little Caesars – get a 4-Quarter Calzony for $8.99 or an NFL 4-Quarter Calzony Meal Deal for $13.99.

These deals run all month long, if you have a favorite pizza restaurant near you, be sure and ask if they have any Pizza Month specials.

Some people's standards for pizza can be pretty low. They'll be happy with some plain old Domino's. But real pizza connoisseurs know there's a lot of hard work that goes into making the perfect pie. Two Florida pizzeria's must have their recipes down to perfection, because they landed on the list of Best Pizzeria's in the world. Unfortunately, they're a bit of a drive from Tampa Bay.

The website 50toppizza.it created a list of the "50 Top Pizzerias in the World" for 2022. They also featured a list of the "50 Top Pizzerias in the U.S.". The site claims to be the "Guide to the best pizzeria's in the world." It's an Italian-based website, so you know they mean business when they talk about the best pizza's in the world.

The two Florida pizzeria's to make it on the list are both based out of Miami. 'O Munaciello was ranked at #28 in the world and La Leggenda Pizzeria came in at #36. The rankings from 50toppizza.it were really making us hungry. Since a pizzeria from Tampa Bay didn't make the cut, we thought we would share our top 5 Tampa Bay area pizzerias that we think could've made the list.

There's a lot that goes into making the perfect pizza. Anybody can make a tasty sauce and order the finest ingredients. But the most important part is the crust. To get that nice crispy crust, it's important to let the dough set and rise for at least 24 hours. All the best pizzeria's treat their dough with care.

If you haven't been to Tampa Bay's oldest pizzeria, you are missing out! Just like we mentioned above, it's all about the crust. Alfonso's makes everything homemade. From their dough, to their sauce and pastas. We were actually invited out to try their menu earlier this year and wrote all about it!

Forbici has been mentioned a few times when considering the best pizza in Tampa. Here, you can have your pizza cut square or round. Be sure to order the Cup n Char pepperoni for that extra crisp and flavor.

Cappy's has been a staple in the Tampa Bay area for years. They have everything from NY Style, to deep dish Chicago, and even calzone's. With multiple locations across Tampa Bay, it's easy to try Cappy's no matter what side of the bridge you're on.

Bella's has some of the most underrated Italian food in Tampa. Located in SOHO by MacDintons. Bella's makes their pizza dough and pasta from scratch, so you know it's the real deal.

Last but not least on our list is Madison Avenue Pizza located in Dunedin. This place is great for all of your non-traditional flavors on pizza. Seriously, they've made pickle pizzas, Chick-fil-A pizzas, Cuban pizza's, and even crab Rangoon pizza.
