Help Find Archie His Forever Home
Meet Archie, he’s Roxanne’s Pet Project of the Week! Archie is a 3-year-old 44 LB Terrier who weighs about 45 pounds. He’s currently waiting for his forever home at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. Archie has a comeback story that will tug at your heartstrings. When he came into HSTB he was horribly emaciated and in a rough medical condition! But he has overcome so much and deserves the BEST and most loving home ever! When he arrived to the shelter, they found he was heartworm positive. The nice people at HSTB treated him, but he MUST return to their animal hospital for his scheduled follow-ups. Archie is great on a leash, good with people, and okay around other dogs. He may be a little more work than some other dogs, but he is worth it! You can learn more about Archie here.
To help Archie settle into his new home, he comes with a FREE week of virtual dog training with GoodPup so you can build a strong bond from the beginning!
Normally adoption cost is $130. Archie will be available for adoption for the special price of $10.50 through end-of-day Friday (24-hours after the he is featured on the air.) Make sure to mention Q105 and Roxanne’s Pet Project is the reason you came to adopt your fur-baby!

One of the missions of the Humane Society of Tampa Bay is to end animal homelessness and we can’t wait to help in their mission.
The Humane Society of Tampa Bay, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, provides shelter for homeless & at-risk animals, adoptions, hospital, and TNVR services for the general public; operates independently from the Humane Society of the United States. And we, along with our animals, would love to have you as a partner on this journey.
