Nancy Wilson and Ann Wilson of Heart perform onstage during the Third Annual Love Rocks NYC Benefit Concert for God’s Love We Deliver in New York City.
Jamie McCarthy/Getty Images for God’s Love we DeliverHeart has just announced their 2024 Royal Flush Tour schedule and there's a Tampa stop on the itinerary. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees will play Tampa's Amalie Arena on Friday, April 26. Local favorite Cheap Trick will open the show. The tour will make only one other Florida stop in Hollywood near Fort Lauderdale the night before (April 25, 2024) at their Seminole Hard Rock Casino.
Ann and Nancy Wilson have gone back and forth between performing solo and together in Heart these past few years. It's great to see they're on the same page and performing together again. Heart already announced a few shows on Journey's stadium tour this summer with Def Leppard in Boston, Toronto and Cleveland. However, they won't be at the Orlando tour stop.
If you've never heard Ann Wilson's vocals live in person, you're in for a wild night. Heart has so many huge Q105 guitar anthems from the 70s like Barracuda, Crazy On You, and Magic Man. Then there were the 80s hits like All I Wanna Do Is Make Love To You, Never, What About Love and Alone. But wait until you hear Ann's voice pierce you when Heart covers Led Zeppelin's classics. They usually work a few Zep songs into the setlist. Check out this performance of "Stairway To Heaven" with Jason Bonham from Kennedy Center Honors. It brought Robert Plant to tears.
Tickets for the Tampa concert with Cheap Trick at Amalie go on sale to the general public this Friday morning (February 2, 2024) at 10am. Keep an eye out for presale opportunities. We often send presale codes out to those who get our Q105 email alerts too so sign up if you haven't already. There's no word yet on ticket prices.
Another Tampa Concert Announcement
Also announced this morning... Train ("Meet Virginia," "Drops of Jupiter") will perform at the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre this summer on August 20. Q105 favorite REO Speedwagon will open that show. Tickets for that show will also go on sale Friday morning at 10.
