New Seats Released for Madonna Tampa Concert
Some new seats have just been released for the Madonna Tampa concert.
April 4 day of show update:
So the seats that were released that we mention in the story below are now GONE. However, a BUNCH of floor seats for tonight’s concert have all of a sudden become available. They are pricy though… about $560! But some are super close to the floor stages Madonna uses. These are seats that resellers have been asking thousands for. They won’t get that price now!
Original story:
Madonna’s first Tampa area concert since 1985 sold out a long time ago. The concert itself was supposed to be along time ago. The show was originally scheduled for September 7, 2023. But Madonna had that big health scare and the show was postponed to April 4, 2024. Your tickets to her original show will be updated digitally. You don’t need to do anything. The concert is scheduled to start at 8:30PM. As to what time she’ll actually take the stage, that’s anybody’s guess.

Madonna’s last Tampa concert was all the way back in 1985 at USF.
Madonna Tampa Concert newly released seats
The new seats just released are along the sides of the stage. Tickets in the 100 and 200 levels are about $115. I spotted some in the upper 300 level starting at $70. That’s a lot less than the lowest price for tickets last week… about $200. Often artists release extra seats right before a show. It ruins scalpers’ day! But the biggest reason they do it is there’s money to be made. Once the staging is set up, they sometimes find that seats in section they thought might not have a view of the stage… are sellable.
Madonna in Tampa in 1985
Were you at the USF Sun Dome May 9, 1985? A sold out crowd of 8,000 sang along with “Lucky Star,” “Like a Virgin,” and Madonna threw fake money into the crowd as she performed “Material Girl,” according to the Tampa Bay Times.
Much has changed since that Tampa concert in 1985. That marriage to Sean Penn didn’t last. She became a mom. She adopted more children. She went on to star in movies and played the Super Bowl halftime show. And yeah, she got a little weird from time to time. Now in her 60s, Madonna remains the all-time highest grossing female touring artist in the world.
