Let's go Bolts! Hockey fans can celebrate the beginning of the 2024 playoffs with this sweet deal from Chipotle. The fast-food Mexican chain doesn't do freebies very often so definitely hop on this if you can! Here's how you can get some free Chipotle.

In honor of the 2024 NHL playoffs kicking off this past weekend, Chipotle is doing a special giveaway for hockey fans. You can get BOGO on any entrée after 3 pm on Monday, April 22, 2024. The only catch is you MUST be wearing your favorite team's hockey jersey. So Tampa fans, come show out in your favorite Bolts player and get yourself some free Chipotle burritos or bowls. You should also know this is only redeemable in-store, so it won't work when placing an order online or through the app.

In November of 2021, Chipotle announced its multi-year North American partnership to become the official Mexican-themed quick service and fast-casual restaurant of the NHL. Chipotle's partnership with the NHL is the brand's largest sports sponsorship to date. The Chipotle logo will be featured on the ice for every game during the Stanley Cup Playoffs throughout the partnership.

Tampa Bay Lightning 2024 Playoffs

The Bolts have made their 5th straight season they reached the playoffs. It was a rollercoaster season for the Bolts. We were without star goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy for the first 20 games. It was expected for Vasy to take a few games to get back into his groove. In March, he had one of the best win records and save percentages in the NHL. On the other hand, Nikita Kucherov enters the postseason after a historic year. Kuuuuuuch ended the season with 100 assists and 44 goals. The only other players to ever finish a season with 100 assists and over 40 goals were Wayne Gretzky and Mario Lemieux. That's some pretty legendary company for Kucherov.

Game 1 of the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs did not go as expected for our Tampa Bay Lightning. The lost game 1 to the Florida Panthers 3-2. The first period was rough to watch as the Bolts didn't get a shot on goal for the first 15 minutes of the game. There was still a ton of physicality and great plays that you expect to see in the battle of Florida. It should be an interesting series! Game 2 takes place on Tuesday at 7 pm in Sunrise. The Bolts will be home for games 3 & 4 on Thursday and Saturday.

The Bolts will be hosting official Lightning Watch Parties at MidTown Tampa for Game 2. There will be giveaways, concession specials and more. To celebrate the Playoffs, the Tampa Bay Lightning will be at various partner restaurant locations from April 22nd – April 25th providing Lightning fans with surprises each day.

10 Times We Caught Nikita Kucherov Smiling or Almost Smiling

It doesn't happen often. But here are 10 times we caught the Tampa Bay Lightning's Nikita Kucherov smiling... or almost smiling.

Congratulations to Tampa Bay Lightning right winger and future NHL Hall of Famer Nikita Kucherov. Last night, he became only the 5th NHL player EVER to get 100 assists in a single season.

For those not super into hockey, an assist is when you pass the puck to a teammate who scores. Getting 100 assists in a season puts Kuch in some pretty impressive company with hockey legends like Wayne Gretzky, Bobby Orr and Mario Lemieux. Before this year, it had been a long 32 years since a player accomplished this feat. For a brief fleeting moment, we caught Nikita Kucherov smiling as everyone at Amalie Arena celebrated.

Nikita Kucherov is one of the most intense players on the Tampa Bay Lightning and all of the National Hockey League. TV cameras often catch Kuch scowling and cussing himself out on the bench if a shift doesn't go exactly as planned. Even when he gets the puck in the net, Nikita Kucherov's celebrations are usually more of a loud ferocious yell instead of a cheerful celebratory grin. To catch Nikita Kucherov smiling is a special moment.

But here are a few rare shots where we caught the Russian cracking a smile... or almost smiling. Congratulations to the Tampa Bay Lightning on securing another playoff run. The Lightning begin the quest for another Stanley Cup and boat parade this weekend. The Bolts will face off against in-state rival the Florida Panthers in the first round of the NHL playoffs. These 2 teams are notorious for getting physical so this series should be memorable. Go Bolts! And hopefully we'll be able to share some more of these rare instances of Nikita Kucherov smiling.
