2 $4 Million Winning Florida Lottery Tickets Sold Across The Street From Each Other

Two multi-million dollar winning Florida Lottery tickets were sold this week by shoppers at the same supermarket... in the same city... across the street from each other! Weird.

The bizarre coincidence happened this week in Largo when two winning Florida Lottery tickets were sold to Publix shoppers for Tuesday's (June 11) drawing. Both Mega Millions tickets were just ONE NUMBER AWAY from winning this week's jackpot that is now up to $47 million.

The players probably aren't too bummed out. They both scored $4 million because they both used the "Megaplier" which doubles your $2 million prize for getting that close.

One of the winning Mega Millions tickets was sold at the Publix at 10500 Ulmerton Road in Largo. The other? Right across the street at the Publix at 10411 Ulmerton Road.

If you usually play the number 7, it was indeed lucky. The winning numbers drawn Tuesday night were 1, 5, 7, 22, and 24. The Megaball was 8, Megaplier 4. The next drawing will be tonight. You still have time to get to Largo.

Who couldn't use an extra million dollars these days? It's a running joke that Florida has some of the best odds when it comes to playing the lottery.
