Here Are 5 Hilarious Comedians Coming To Tampa This Year
Bert Kreischer
One of the biggest comedy shows happening in Tampa this year is Bert Kreischer's Tops Off World Tour. He'll be playing multiple nights at the Mahaffey Theater. These shows are extra special because not only is it Bert's hometown shows, but they'll also be taping for his Netflix special. The only bummer is most dates are sold out, or tickets are selling for over $250 a piece (before all those taxes and fees).
Steve Byrne
I always recommend checking out some lesser known or underground comedians. Sometimes those are the funniest shows around. Steve Byrne recently wrote and directed the semi autobiographical feature film about his early years in stand up comedy called "The Opening Act". Starring a roster of who's who in the stand up world (Bill Burr, Cedric the Entertainer, Russell Peters, Tom Segura, Whitney Cummings, Ken Jeong, Jimmy O Yang, Iliza and many others). He'll be performing at Side Splitters Comedy Club August 8-11.
Trevor Wallace
This is definitely for the younger crowd. Trevor Wallace has taken off on social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok from the success of his comedy bits and "Stiff Socks" Podcast. He'll be performing new material on September 20-22 and The Funny Bone (previously Tampa Improv).
Rob Schneider
Everyone knows Rob Schneider from his iconic films and features in: Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, The Hot Chick, The Benchwarmers, 50 First Dates, SNL, and more. He'll be performing at the Mahaffey Theater on Friday, October 18. Click here for tickets.
Martin Lawrence
Fresh off the new release of Bad Boys: Ride or Die, comedy legend Martin Lawrence is hitting the road with his “Y’all Know What it is!” Comedy Tour with a stop at Hard Rock Event Center at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa on Sunday, December 15. Click here for tickets.
